Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Millinocket School Department has been working on our updated Safety Response Plan (SRP). The plan includes a number of protocols and drills that we must practice, with the hope that we never need to use them. The drills include our yearly fire drills as well as other measures that secure our buildings and classrooms.
The main objective is to be prepared for a number of situations that could arise. We will practice these protocols on a regular basis so that our staff and students are familiar with what to do in an emergency.
In the event of an actual emergency, you will be notified on our Swift System, through text or call. Please keep our schools updated with any changes in your contact information so will be sure to receive notifications from us. The Millinocket School Department prioritizes safety and preparedness, because your childrens' safety is of the utmost importance.
