Granite Street's fourth graders had their annual wax museum last week. There were a wide range of wax museum figures including U.S. presidents, historical figures, athletes, Britain royalty, authors, scientists, entertainers, and musician. Students selected a person of interest and read biographies and other research material in order to learn about their designated person. They were tasked with writing notes on index cards, creating posters, and dressing up as their chosen person. By pressing a button on each poster, visitors were able to listen to each 4th graders tell about "themselves" as they wandered through the gym and conference room. Students from other classes visited the museum in the morning, and family members were invited to be guests of the museum in the afternoon.
